"Experience the Market"

The Market is back....bringing a touch of the country, to the heart of the city.Create a sustainable lifestyle or just come to shop and enjoy a Saturday morning with your family, friends and neighbors in beautiful, historic, downtown York. The market provides the community with fresh, seasonal, locally grown fruits and vegetables, herbs, flowers, honey, bake sale items, and eggs. As well as handmade crafts, candles, soap, leather goods, pottery, ...and new this year, something for your furry friends, and SO MUCH MORE! Every Saturday morning, the market will be transformed into a creative, educational, homey and lively community gathering place. The market is FREE to vendors and to the public. The market will feature live, local entertainment, an Earth Day celebration, "Ask a Master Gardner", "Wellness Day", a tractor show and 4H farm day, cooking and bar-b-q demonstrations by local chefs, bake sales, face painting, horse drawn carriage rides, and seasonal events. New this year is a monthly Yard Sale on the first Saturday. Non-profits, scouts, and church groups are invited to participate with hot dog sales, bake sales, lemonade stand, etc. Local clubs, churches and businesses are invited to have information booths as well. The farmers market is located on N Congress St, open Saturdays from 8:00AM-Noon.
